Drew Irwin
Drew has Cerebral Palsy with high muscle tone in his arms and legs (high muscle tone means his muscles are tight). Drew's vision is poor so he likes items that are very close, and enjoys lots of hands-on items so he feels included in the activity. Drew seems to relax when he is doing and activity.
Drew is a happy 16 year-old boy who is very sweet. Anything that brings him joy in his troubled life is a joy to us. Drew was diagnosed with CP at birth. Drew was born only two days early, but his doctors think he contracted Neonatal Viral Hepatitis at birth.
Drew has been through years of tests and has been found to have high muscle tone in his arms and legs, low muscle tone in his trunk and neck, and a visual impairment. He is a very special boy and he makes everyone he comes in contact with smile! As his parents, we are so proud of him.
