Cole Rapini
Cole is a 3 year old who loves to smile and laugh! Cole suffers from an undiagnosed disease that has caused vision loss, hearing loss, trachael malacia, seizures, kidney disease and developmental delay. Cole has undergone countless surgeries and testing all over the country but so far Doctors do not know of another case like Cole.
Coles development is currently that of a 6 month old and it is unknown what the future holds for him. We decided to try painting with him because he really likes to explore different textures through scratching as opposed to playing with toys. He also enjoys social interaction with his family and friends. We thought it would be a good way for him to partake in 2 of his favorite activities at the same time.
Cole responded very well to painting. He enjoys squishing the paint in his palm and scracthing the canvases he also grabs ahold of the paint brushes which is a huge accomplishment for Cole!!!
